Information used to fulfil your order

We use the name, billing and delivery address, email, telephone number, products ordered and delivery instructions you provide to process your purchase, arrange delivery and handle order enquiries, returns and refunds. This is necessary to perform our contract with you or respond to a request before you buy. Without the required checkout information, we cannot complete your order.

We keep transaction and invoice information to meet applicable accounting and tax obligations. Order information may also be used to investigate payment disputes and protect the business against fraud, on the basis of our legitimate interests.

Payments and delivery

Depending on the payment method you choose, payment information is processed by PayPal or WooPayments and its payment service providers. We receive information needed to identify and reconcile your payment. Full card details are handled by the payment provider.

Delivery information is shared with the carrier needed for your order, including SEUR Frío for orders containing butter and TIPSA for oil-only orders. Service providers supporting website hosting, order administration and accounting may also handle information necessary for those services. Information may be disclosed to authorities where legally required.

Enquiries and WhatsApp

When you contact us, we use your contact details and message to respond and manage your request. Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry. WhatsApp is a third-party service; using it also involves processing under that provider’s privacy terms.

International services

Payment and communication providers operate internationally and may process information outside the European Economic Area. Their privacy notices explain the locations and safeguards applicable to their services. Contact us if you require further information about a provider involved in your order.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes above, resolve related enquiries or disputes, and meet applicable legal record-keeping requirements. Those requirements may prevent immediate deletion of invoice and transaction records. Enquiry information is retained only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any resulting relationship.

The shop uses cookies and similar storage to maintain your basket and checkout session. Login and language features may also use cookies. Payment providers use their own technologies to operate payments and prevent fraud. You can manage cookies in your browser, although blocking essential cookies may prevent the basket or checkout from working.
