Mediterranean Rice 1kg. Sivaris
A japonica variety with pearly like aspect. The grain is short, round and ideal for Mediterranean cuisine, including the popular Spanish dish “arroz caldoso”, and of course PAELLA. It has extraordinary culinary qualities as it absorbs the intense flavour of the broth in which it is cooked.
It undergoes the accordion effect when cooked, allowing the rice to remain loose and whole due to its high resistance to stickiness. You should cook it with more broth tan other varieties, 3 parts and a half of broth to 1 part of rice. Cooking time is about 18 minutes.
