DescriptionCeleste is an opulent wine brimming with fruit, body and colour: as unique as the night sky in the Ribera del Duero.OriginAt 895 metres altitude you can almost touch the stars and shape the clouds. The dusk air is intense with fragrance. And the sun lights up the land in all its splendour. Here, at a height of 895 metres, Celeste is born, the Torres family’s first Ribera del Duero.Serving suggestionsServe between 16-17 ºC. Owing to its fruity and tannic characteristics, this wine pairs well with a great variety of meat dishes including roasts and small game.Tasting NotesIntense blackberry colour. Spicy and intense nose, with liquorice and black pepper hints on a base of well ripened fruits (blackberry and cherry). On the palate, very fruity at first with ripened tannins, also persistent and full bodied.Grape VarietiesTinto Fino: The tempranillo of the Ribera del Duero is called “tinto fino”. A jewel of this land of extreme temperatures, it does not require blending with other grape varieties.Awards received- Peñín (Spain) 2010: 90 points    Celeste 2007- Campsa (Spain) 2009: 91 points    Celeste 2006- Wine Enthusiast (USA) 2009: 91 points    Celeste 2006- Wine Advocate (USA) 2011: 91+ points    Celeste 2005- Campsa (Spain) 2008: 91 points    Celeste 2005- Wine Spectator (USA) 2008: 90 points    Celeste 2005- Campsa (Spain) 2007: 90 points    Celeste 2004- Wine Spectator (USA) 2007: 90 points    Celeste 2004- Campsa (Spain) 2006: 90 points    Celeste 2003- Wine Spectator (USA) 2005: 90 points    Celeste 2003- Repsol (Spain) 2014: 91 points    Celeste Crianza 2010- Peñín (Spain) 2014: 90 points    Celeste Crianza 2010- Semana Vitivinícola (Spain) 2013: 92 points    Celeste Crianza 2009- Wine Advocate (USA) 2011: 90-93 points    Celeste Crianza 2009- Peñín (Spain) 2011: 90 points    Celeste Crianza 2009
