It’s a rice of Japonica family, with a medium and pearly grain. The grains’ size is big. It’s considered like the king of the Italian’s rice.
It’s catalogued by the culinary critics like “superfine”. Traditionally it’s cultivated in the Po Valley (Italy). After cooking, its texture remains consistent within and outside creamy. With an excellent and succulent flavor, is the most recommended for cooking risottos.
This rice is recommended for preparing risottos. You must add the broth during cooking. Cooking time: approx 35 minutes.
