The Oksen Family has been preparing infused Rums since 1973 in Cap Ferret. The Rums were prepared in purest artisan tradition. In 2009, Franck Oksen decided to launch his own production.
This second one sets in majesty the rare « Split Vanilla ». This vanilla bean has the articularity to have ripened on its liana until the pod opens, that is to say it splits. All the aromas of the peppery, racy, slightly caramelized vanilla with some notes of chocolate and the sun’s sensuality can be found in this spirit with a golden gleaming hue.
Visual aspect: straw-yellow. Nose: vanilla. Palate: soft and supple, reminds childhood. Nice complexity. Notes of vanilla and spices. Gourmet pairings: crème caramel.
