The Oksen Family has been preparing infused Rums since 1973 in Cap Ferret. The Rums were prepared in purest artisan tradition. In 2009, Franck Oksen decided to launch his own production.
This first spiced rum is made with entire cinnamon sticks, macerated long enough to provide the very essence of the spice and a hint of woodiness stemming from the wood of the stick, genuine piece of cinnamon tree bark. 100% natural, this brandy displays a lovely coppery colour.
Visual aspect: golden. Nose: cinnamon, mild spices. Palate: round and smooth. Pleasurable flavours of cinnamon. Gourmet pairings: chocolate cake with a cinnamon sauce.
